The chair sensor mat detects weight changes and triggers an alarm through its integrated, volt-free nurse-call lead. A slim pressure pad sealed within waterproof vinyl activates when the user rises, closing or opening the circuit depending on system requirement. The 2-metre shielded cable ends in a universal 6.35 mm mono jack for direct connection to most nurse-call points. A high-flex strain-relief boot guards against cable fatigue, and colour-coded LEDs confirm power and alarm status at a glance.
